Gustave Nouel uit Aruba is een Caribische kunstschilder.\u00a0In 1992 hingen zijn schilderijen in het Nederlands paviljoen (Wereldexpositie Sevilla, Spanje).<\/p>\n
In 2007 werd hij voor de expositie \u00b4Kroonjuwelen\u2019 geselecteerd door het Ministerie van Binnenlandse Zaken en Koninkrijksrelaties. Sinds 2006 plaatst de Arubaanse Hall of Fame (Paseo Herencia) hem tussen de tien bekendste personen uit de Arubaanse geschiedenis. Nouel wordt door velen beschouwd als \u00e9\u00e9n van de bekendste en meest erkende (portret)schilders uit het Caribisch gebied. Hij heeft deelgenomen aan meer dan 200 exposities in binnen- en buitenland.<\/p>\n
Zijn inspiratiebronnen zijn: Jazz Art, de Arubaanse \/ Caribische cultuur en o.a. de mythische brugfunctie van ons \u2018soms controversi\u00eble\u2019 Oranjehuis.<\/p>\n
